I think I want to do envelope liners for my thank you notes or something. Does anyone have any good suggestions? i dont want to spend a fortune on prints. The prints don’t necessarily have to match. I like a variety of designs, but nothing too old fashioned / formal / couch patterny. Think ikea, banana republic, crate and barrel, places like that for patterns and style.
Thanks for any help!

Oh! I remember someone posting something about using rolls of wrapping paper! I was planning on using that idea . . . big pieces, relatively little prices.

They have a ton of patterned paper that people use for scrapbooking!

I was going to suggest wrapping paper as well!

ohh – wrapping paper! Even if i spring for the fancier stuff, it’s probably less $$ than buying sheets of paper. Sweet – thanks! I bet ikea actually HAS stuff like that!

You can design your own at cards and pockets (http://www.cardsandpockets.com), you pick a pattern and ink color. that is I think I am going to do for all my stationery.

I would check at Hobby Lobby if you have one by you. Their 12X12 scrapbook papers go on sale frequently at 1/2 price, so they only cost about $0.30 cents each. Or you can get their 8.5X11s on sale too. They’ve got all kinda of prints, and if you find one you like when they’re on sale you can order in as many as you need at the sale price.
They post their ads every week on their website.

I would try the wrapping paper section of World Market Cost Plus if I were you! Their wrapping paper is handmade and AMAZING!

i ended up getting some wrapping paper at AC Moore and the project looks great so far! But I’ll need more for other projects and never thought about World market – love that place.

+1 for wrapping paper. I used wrapping paper from Michael’s for my invitation liners.
