Taking Charge of Your Fertility seems to be a top pick. It helps you figure out your cycles, fertile periods, etc. Also, What to Expect Before You’re Expecting, which goes more into nutrition and stuff I think.

Yes, I’m reading a good ‘guide’ book right now called “Before Your Pregnancy: A 90 Day Guide for Couples on How to Prepare for a Healthy Conception “…Its lie 500+ pages, but I’m skipping around it now reading what I want to know..so far I think it is pretty good =)

ETA: I’ve learned a lot of things that really made us decide to ‘TTC’ when ready and not just ‘NTNT’

@OhBeeHive84: do you mind sharing those things? I’m always confused as to the difference between TTC and NTNT. I mean, I know TTC involves like actively charting and whatnot, but I’d love to hear what you learned!

@OhBeeHive84: They don’t have it for the kindle either! I need to get myself a hard copy, boo.

yup! Sure, here are a few that I have learned:

1) We like to have our drinks..we don’t want to end up getting drunk one night and then having an oops moment.  There is no ‘safe’ level of alcohol consumption during pregnancy, so we don’t want to risk it.

2) Folic Acid: Very good idea to begin taking 1 month prior (and during pregnanct) to conception–helps reduce the chance of spina bifida

Husband is very active and strict in his fitness regime..he is into cycling.  I read that if a man cycles it brings down his sperm count (because of the pressure being put on his areas).  We plan on having him reduce his crazy cycling when we begin to TTC

3) Husband LOVES to eat Red Meat–I read that it could reduce his sperm count…so he is cutting back.

There are tons more, I’ll add to this as I remember them =)
