Google “printing in (your city)” – you’ll come up with a couple of local printing presses. They can print your job – you send them a PDF in the right size, and usually they have digital offset printing. You can go in and choose the paper. We did this and our save the dates cost $10 to print 100 of them – black and white, but still a good price. I liked supporting a local business instead of using an internet company like Vistaprint.

I think that this depends on what type of Save-The-Date Cards you are doing. Postcards? Card? Is the printing quality important to you? We ordered our STD postcards (white and black fronts) from Catprint, and also got them to print the RSVP cards and rehearsal dinner inserts. They offer a wide selection of paper choices and they are a smaller company. Each time I call the customer service line, it takes me to a real person! I feel like it’s a smaller operation, they hand inspect the printing (so if it’s customer error, off-centered, whatever, they fix it for you). I also plan on getting our menus and programs printed from them when it’s time.

Mine was a 4×6 postcard i designed my STD as a PDF file sent it to NextDayFlyers.com, I paid $30 for 100. They came a week later and looked great! I found it weird though that I ordered 100 but I think they mistakenly gave me 200. The only downside is that 100 is the lowest you can order. But I was pleased with them.
