These have listings for every type of wedding there is. 🙂
we walking out to “all you need is love” being played by our string quartet
its a surprise for all the guests…i can’t wait. the rest of the ceremony is very traditional and i’m so excited that the quartet can play it 🙂
Here’s a huge list of ideas:
Usually the recessional is upbeat but you can use anything you want as long as it is approved by your minister. For example, if you are marrying in a church, you will only be allowed religious music.
We are having a String Quartet and I really like “All you need is love”…close contender with Journey’s “Don’t stop believin'”…
I’m marrying in a church, and I’m allowed secular music. You should ask the church staff what is and isn’t allowed. It may even be in the contract that you sign with your church.
We ended up picking “I got a feeling” by Black Eyed Peas. It was the only one we felt was upbeat enough, even though we wanted to use it to enter out reception.
We actually went with the theme song to the Olympics- the one by John Williams- sounded bridal and then an “ahha” moment mid aisle with laughter- so perfect since we both met running a marathon…;)
