Same!!! I am such a big sweet tooth!!! 🙂

I think your best bet is to choose a bakery that also has chocolate covered strawberries – a lot of them do. You may have trouble finding a vendor in Houston who advertises that they arrange spreads of truffles and chocolate-covered strawberries for events, but there are definitely people out there who can help with that. I would recommend finding a cake baker that you like (we’re ordering our cake from Epicure Cafe, and we loved every single flavor when we went to the tasting!). You can do tastings at a few bakeries before you sign a contract, so shop around. I’ve heard the Dessert Gallery and The Chocolate Bar make great cakes for events – I’ve had their desserts in-store and they’re to.die.for.

Then find a chocolate shop to make spreads of the other sweets. The best chocolate-covered strawberries in Houston are from Chocolat Du Monde. I work with the co-owner and he is super friendly, I’m sure he and his partner would work with you to prepare some platters of sweets and drop them off at your venue.

I looooooove Ooh La La. They do the best sweet treats! We have one nearby, so I like getting their cupcakes normally, but they did a sweets table for a wedding we did about a year and a half ago. I remember macarons, small cakes, cookies cake pops, and even Froot Loops treats (like Rice Krispies treats!). There was more for sure…it was a great spread. Definitely check them out!
