I love my ladies! So far they’ve been amazing 🙂

-One is lending me a few brooches to include in my bouquet (one that she even wore on her dress at her own wedding).

-This same gal is giving me her veil. How sweet!

-A few of them have accompanied me on different appointments to find my own gown and to test out ideas for their dresses.

-I’ve heard them planning parties already, making my guestbook, having a girls night the night before and making breakfast, etc, etc.

They are just amazing girls! And they’re all various distances away (from minutes away to across the country), but still have been amazing about calling or messaging me just to see how things are going. They’re so sweet!

I had wonderful bridesmaids!  They were there for me every step of the way.  Listend to all my craziness and fufilled all duties with a smile.  One of my bridesmaids lives about 3 hours away, gave birth about 2 weeks before the wedding, came and spent the whole week before the wedding in town at her parents house (remember, she just gave birth!) so she could be fitted for her dress and take care off everything she still needed to do before the wedding!  She has my vote for wedding trooper fo the year! But, that is why I chose the girls I did!  My 2 sisters, my cousin/best friend, and my oldest, dearest friend! I knew they wouldn’t fail me!

Mine have also been with me every step of the way, even though they are out of state. One of them is making our bouquets and she has also made me some hairpins; the other one is planning a “surprise” bachelorette for the night before, since that is when she will be here. The other one will be here earlier in the week and she will help me with any last minute stuff that I might have forgotten. They have both been quick to return my phone calls and emails and they both have many nice adjectives for all of my DIY items. Oh, and one of them was nice enough to cut all of my invitations and inserts for me, so that I could assemble them.

Dude, my bridesmaids are the best!!

– Maid/Matron of Honor is coming from London 3 weeks before the wedding to help out with stuff.

– 1 Bridesmaid or Best Man drove me all over LA to shop for wedding dresses.  She took notes and snuck in pictures whenever possible.  She also hooked me up with her priest to do wedding prep.  And I don’t belong to their parish.

– 1 made me a spreadsheet of local cake places and flower places with price quotes.  She doesn’t even live in this state!  She is also completely understanding my vision for my wedding and is spot on with everything I tell her.  For example, I’m having them pick their own dresses with a specified style, and she immediately found like 20 dresses in the correct style online and bookmarked them.

– 1 has been comforting me constantly about the fact that my wedding will not be the day that I become legally married.  Her logic and reasoning is so convincing.  I printed her email explaining why this is perfectly normal and acceptable, and have this e-mail on my wall!

LOVE LOVE LOVE my girls!

My friend who was going to be my Maid/Matron of Honor was really awesome until we had a falling out a while ago.

We really didn’t get to do much, but we did have a lot of fun dress shopping.

1 Bridesmaid or Best Man knew I liked a particular Bridesmaid or Best Man dress so went and tried it on without me asking

Another has bought me this, which I’m delighted with and can’t stop smiling about it

I know I rant sometimes about my BMs but 99% of the time they are FABULOUS.

They always listen to me complain, no matter how dumb it is. Some of the things they have done:

My Maid/Matron of Honor came to a bridal show with me.

One of my BMs is always, always asking me how planning is going and if she can help. It’s so sweet just knowing that she is thinking of me and our wedding.

Another one works for a well-known magazine corporation and just snagged me a stack of wedding magazines!

Finally, another Bridesmaid or Best Man just got married over the summer and her wedding advice to me has just been incredibly valuable to me.

They are seriously the best.

I LOVE my bridesmaids. Bachelorette is in 3 weeks and I think my Maid/Matron of Honor has been plotting something with my Fiance. My Maid/Matron of Honor is the best ever. She flew to NYC to go dress shopping, flew to FL for my shower and is paying my share of the hotel for bachelorette. Bridesmaid or Best Man 1 drove 5 hrs with a baby to come to my shower, Bridesmaid or Best Man 2 moved to London and still listens to my wedding issues and Bridesmaid or Best Man 3 has gone to wedding shows (and tried on a Bridesmaid or Best Man dress in our office bathroom so I could decide if I liked it). I’m spoiled.

My Bridesmaids are the most AMAZING girls. Lets see a small sample of the things they’ve done so far:

– Put up with obnoxious store employees in TWO locations without losing their cool

– Came three states away to get me from the hospital when I was in a car accident and Fiance was travelling for work

– Maid/Matron of Honor talked my mother into open bar bridal shower

– Ongoing plotting about wine tasting/spa bachelorette party about which I know nothing, but saw over one shoulder into a gmail email tha was on 113 messages!

Maid/Matron of Honor, since you named me Beansy in the first place, if you read this I love you into tiny little pieces!
