Does anyone have any recommendations for a dry cleaner that won’t charge me $1000 to get my gown cleaned? My dress is all lace and the hem of it is pretty soiled… I took my high heels and continued to dance the night away, not caring at the time that my lovely and oh so expensive scalloped lace hem was dragging along the floor with me.
I really want to get my dress cleaned but don’t want to pay $1000 for it, nor do I want it to get ruined in the process. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I swear by Atherton Dry Cleaning and Tailoring… they’re in Redwood city. I trust Angela and Stan with all of my stuff. They also have amazing reviews on Yelp if you search for them. Personally I’d avoid Crystal Springs cleaning off in San Mateo. They quoted me an arm and a leg and were super rude when I took my dress in. I ended up avoiding them like the plague but lots of bridal salons on the Peninsula recommend them.

@SerenaSF: If you’re still looking for a cleaner, I went to Royal Cleaners in San Francisco. My dress wasn’t a huge mess after our wedding, just very wrinkled and dirty along the hem. I spent a little over $200 to have the dress cleaned and boxed. It came out great!
