Fiance and I really like Schmitt Sohne Reislings, they’re also really affordable.

Oh man, I wish you had posted this a week ago!  One of my best friends used to brew his own mead and used gorgeous cobalt blue bottles for it.  He’s entering seminary school and getting rid of most of his possessions, so when we were moving him out, he asked if we had any need for the twenty empty bottles he had left.  We said no, so they were all thrown away!  I would have sent them to you.  πŸ™  I’ll ask him where he got them, though.

Schmitt Söhne Relax Riesling, Schmitt Söhne Riesling or Beviamo Moscato D’Asti. My local Sam’s club carries all of these πŸ™‚ happy hunting!

I needed 15 blue bottles for table numbers for my wedding. I did not find any of the German ones pallatable and the Italian one (sorry don’t recall the names) was tolerable. I contacted my local recycling depot and asked them to set the blue bottles aside for me. And then did! I didn’t have to buy any wine!

I found wine primarily came from Germany and one or two from Italy. I’m a wine snob and found these wines way too sweet.

I got 15 bottles for my table numbers through my recycling depot. No need to buy or drink crappy wine!

Cupcake Vinyards has a nice reisling that comes in a pretty blue bottle and I think some of their red wines are also in blue bottles.

@sarahbabs: I just happen to see it one day in my local liquor store and bought it because the label was cute Laughing

@sarahbabs: I think our favorite is the Spatlese

Polka Dot Riesling – not really a “good” wine, but a very tasty cheap wine, IMO! πŸ™‚
