I’ve got my wedding shoes and I’ve been practicing walking in them (3 inch heels, not too crazy but my feet don’t like me after an hour) but I know that at my wedding, there’s going to be at least one or two occasions when I will need to walk a fair distance and will want to change shoes to do so. (Mostly for photographs)
What are some good ideas for some comfortable backup shoes to wear for those? I’d like to get something fun and special for the day. Budget not an issue, I was considering some Tieks or something. Would love to hear your ideas! Any color, just needs to be easy to walk in and comfortable, so probably <2 inch heel if any.

My shoes were my something blue!
I wore Navy Blue Toms with little white flowers on them all day. Toms are my ‘signature shoe’ and I wanted my wedding day to be no different…besides, I was wearing a floor length dress so nobody could really tell.
Toms also makes lacy ‘dressy’ pairs too. I have an off white lacy pair I used to wear to work sometimes.
Also, my SIL OWNED it when she got married and her ‘back up shoes’ were bright orange flip flops…they looked surprisingly fun and fierce paired with her gorgeous and super formal gown!

Sorry for the huge pic! My “ceremony/photos” shoes are 4 1/2 in. heels so I definitely need to change into something eventually, but still wanted something with a “heel” so I found these chucks (our wedding is baseball themed) and they have a 3 in. heel on the inside. They are super comfy and fun!

If budget is wide open designer flats are the way to go! If you still want them to be dressy looking Jimmy Choo, Louboutin, Badgely Mishka, and my own wedding shoes Valentino, all make very formal and beautiful flats.
