Clever on their part.  I saw the ad/link for this, but paid no attention to.  Thanks for posting! 😛

Probably, a few years ago they did the beer goggle question where you had to answer a math question before sending an email to ensure you werent drunk.

Definately. They have one every year. I think last year it was carrier pigeons.

I can’t see it at work but will look when I get home.

They always have something fun. I usually forget it’s April 1 so I almost always fall for it. lol

That’s funny! I didn’t notice it though, until I saw this thread.

@HardyPooleParty: I have two as well and J’s email account was linked last night when he was checking something.  Hahaha.  I guess I’ve never really paid attention to their “pranks”.

Haha!  Yeah – they do an April Fools thing every year.  I hadn’t noticed this year’s yet until this thread but it’s a common thing for them.

@lefeymw: The beer goggles one actually isn’t April Fools – It’s totally legit and you can add it as an option to your account. 🙂

@DesireeAnne: It’s in Google Labs.

Click on the “gear” picture in the upper right hand corner and select “Labs” from the drop-down menu.

About mid-way down the page there is a lab called “Mail Goggles”.  Change the selection from disable to enable and Save!

Here’s the description of the lab in case you’re interested! “Google strives to make the world’s information useful. Mail you send late night on the weekends may be useful but you may regret it the next morning. Solve some simple math problems and you’re good to go. Otherwise, get a good night’s sleep and try again in the morning. After enabling this feature, you can adjust the schedule in the “General” settings page.”
