Awww that’s too bad πŸ™ I’m sorry you’re disappointed.  On the other hand, iPads are really cool!  How come you know what you’re getting already?

That stinks.. I mean, cool about the iPad, but I would feel the same way if my boyfriend spent so much on a gift that wasn’t a ring. And I got “the text” from a friend last night with a pic of her shiny new ring! Good for her, depressing for me..

Haha I hate it when they guess their present…my bf guessed about his watch last year too πŸ™  Oh well, more time for you to play with the iPad I guess!

I actually tried to take a break from facebook due to jealousy issues too (this lasted 6 hours before I got bored!).  Now I’ve clicked to not show certain people’s statuses for the time being, until I can not get so unhappy.  Childish?  Maybe.  Works for me though.

Maybe he has a separate fund for your ring for a later date?  Then you’ll have BOTH!! πŸ˜‰

Aww, I’m sorry. πŸ™  I have an old diamond ring stored away somewhere that I could always trade for your iPad if that would make you feel better. πŸ˜‰

I feel your pain. I told Boyfriend or Best Friend not to get me any gifts since he is saving for an e-ring. I was very adament about it. I got him a gift, though, and I guess he really wanted to get me something so he got me like an $80 bottle of perfume. It was a sweet gesture, but I couldn’t help but feel mad at him…that 80$ could have gone to the ring. He is like “I already have budgeted for the ring and I am not increasing it” and it was just a fight even though it was a nice gesture I wanted a ring so bad for Christmas and every day that goes by without it is another twist of the knife. I just feel bitter and sad and cannot be happy about anything anymore.

So sorry you got an iPad instead of a ring!

But I have good news about accessing WB on iPad, click on the HTML link on the text box and it should work, it works on mine.  It takes a minute for the window to pop up and I have to click on the text box a few times, but i does eventually work.

I was about to say I’m jealous that you got an ipad but I see that you were hoping for an e-ring.  Sorry. An ipad is a pretty big gift, maybe think of it as something not everyone gets and that it’s a serious purchase and maybe an engagement is in the future.  Or  maybe the ipad is what he got with the left over money he had from buying the ring? Wishful thinking maybe.  Hoping something happens soon for you.

Sorry you didn’t get what you really wanted. πŸ™ Just think about how much wedding things you can explore wedding things when you do get engaged. πŸ™‚ I know that didn’t help, but it’s an idea.

that’s what I think I’m getting.

We can use our iPads to visit the Bees and to play games and ignore our SO’s.
