First congratulations on your marriage! and secondly my heart goes out to you! I am so sorry that you have to go through this but I understand exactly what you are going through, I was engaged for 6 months when my mom was diagnosed with inoperable pancreatic cancer in june of 2011. When I told her doctor that we had a wedding planned for november of 2012 she suggested that I move it to oct of 2011… that i couldn’t do but we managed a jan of 2012 which was pushing it and i prayed every night that my mom would be at my wedding. (she was). Please know that the month or days they give your mom can actually be MANY more then they say. and be involved in her care, the lustgarten foundation (www.curepc.org) is a great resource for information. they are constantly coming out with new drugs to extend and improve quality of life.

Please feel free to Private message me if you have any questions.

Your story is so touching and hits really close to my heart. I am so happy that you got to share your wedding day with your mother. Although it wasn’t the wedding you dreamed of I know once your mother is gone you will see how perfect it really was. I will not have the opportunity to have my mom at my wedding and that gives me great heartache.

Please enjoy the time you have left with your mom, I wish I would have done that more in the years that my mother was sick. Remember nothing is more important in life than the people you love. Money, jobs, etc. they come and go and you always have a chance to get them back. Loved ones are much more precious and once they are gone you can’t get them back.

Beautiful pictures! I wish you and your family the best! I will pray for you and your family!
