Finally found my dress! Totally wasn’t what I was thinking of (I had only tried on strapless) but it surprised me and made me feel like a bride. It was the first one I tried on in this store and even though I tried on some more none of them were as pretty or felt “right” enough. What do you think?? Haven’t gotten measured for it yet but I”ll go this week…
That brings me to my next question for you bees… do you need to wear a corset or is a strapless bra ok? I know the corset kind of sucks you in tight but if a dress is made for measurements, shouldn’t that suck you in tight too?
Thanks for the help 🙂

Gorgeous! I love the bow on the shoulder. I have no idea about the corset/bra situation because I’m kinda wondering the same thing!

Beautiful dress! As for the bra/corset question, it’s up to you. I went with neither, and had cups sewn into my dress.

Beautiful dress! I’m guessing you could do either but have you thought about having cups sewn in? I’m going to explore that when I go to my first dress fitting in a few months.

You look great!! So glad you found the one!
As for corsets/long-line bras, I do think they’re best, because they should have the effect of smoothing you — and the front of the dress — out very nicely. I chose NOT to wear one, because it had the effect of pushing my chest UP and OUT of the top of my dress, and I was trying to avoid cleavage with my sweetheart neckline. Unfortunately, the result of my NOT wearing one is that I have some unattractive creases underneath my bustline on the bodice of my dress. In hindsight, I don’t know what I could have done differently (because I definitely did not want to have too much cleavange.) However, I also dislike many of my wedding pics because of the creases underneath the bust of my gown.

Thanks everyone for the comments and advice… hmm sewn in cups.. I never knew about that.
@Runnerbride13 I wasn’t thinking about it in the first place but when I tried it on it surprised me 🙂
@AmandaShea let me know what you find 🙂
@Shosha1 did you like the sewn in cups? How did it work out?
@Brielle so sorry that you didn’t get the results you didn’t want. But true, Up and OUT for the girls on that day is not what you want have.

Such a gorgeous dress! The lady at the salon (cause I asked the same question) said it’s whatever you feel most comfortable in. Personally, I’m wearing a lacy longline bra because it’s something nice for when the dress comes off; I could go without just fine.
