I love the train, but yes, the bust does need taken in. Gorgeous dress!

Do you think you will love it after they take it in and shorten the train or is there something else that makes you think – sell it and buy a new one?

Dresses that are unaltered sell for more but you will be looking at losing around 50% of the original price and will you still have budget to get a new dress?

I had dress regret – sold mine for 50% bought one I love and have never had doubts since 🙂  But I recognize that is not the path for everyone

It’s a lovely dress. And you look totally lovely in it!!!

But…I would say put in some cutlets. I feel like what may be throwing you off is that it is so narrow at the top and so voluminous at the bottom. If you add in one of those pushup sticky cutlet bras, then have them tone down the train, it will be more of an hourglass shape.

As I said, you look lovely already, but I had a similar problem with mine and put on one of those miracle sticky things, and now it’s soooo much better.

I had padded cups sewn into my dress and I still wore a bra as well, so maybe you can have cups sewn in as well.

@asianyoushi:  i agree with you on the fake bust thing….I wanted to look natural. Just as an FYI, you can look at my pics, and i am wearing a miracle 2-cup adding bra. You can’t even tell because I have the same top as you.

This is a pic of me whining about my stomach, but with just a regular white tee-shirt bra with no padding but an underwire: (I’m a 34B)

This is me in my dress in one of those strapless miracle 2-cup adding bras!

I really think all it did was make the top sit better and make me look less triangle-y. Here is another one of me (in purple) wearing the same bra.

Ive ordered my dress, and i have no regrets cos its so different but my train is quite long, I wonder how much of a problem that will be on the day… By the way your dress is gorgeous, i think my train is longer than yours.

I love the train! Once it gets altered, it’s going to look great.
