Picked up my dress yesterday – no fitting yet, but I have to keep it until then (probably early February). Like many of you, I still can’t happily look at my arms, but still – I know many of you enjoy seeing other of us larger ladies in our dresses….
no nasty comments please – I already bought it!

I think you look great! There’s nothing wrong with your arms.

I think it looks great! I love the veil too. How are you accessorizing?

How gorgeous! I love it 🙂

I lovey-love it. You look great!! The back of the dress with the veil looks really cool!

I’m usually not one for simplicity ;), but that dress is stunning! I love the little pleats at the waist! Great choice 🙂

aw thanks ladies! The veil is my favorite part – it’s customized to have the same satin trim as the dress (holy crap are veil’s $$$)
My aunt got me pearl and diamond earings as an engagement gift and I’m going to borrow a diamond necklace from her, I think (no gold…and I’ll buy a CZ necklace in case she falls through or it doesn’t fit). I also have a sparkly (read: fake diamonds) bracelet I might wear too. My flowers are white and blue with a little accenting green wrapped with marine corps dress blue pants – florist has an old pair of my FH’s pants that he’ll use instead of bridal satin or anything else.
And navy shoes, probably.

My first impression of your dress is “simply gorgeous” The cut of it really flatters you! Less really is more. Love it!

I think it’s simply elegant. You look terrific!
P.S. I was really not wanting to show my arms either, but on our wedding day I hardly even thought about it. You’ll get caught up in the bliss and celebration. But, if you want to work on it, I’d advise that you use the Shake Weight. I know the commercials are goofy, but it does work (helped to tone my chubby arms a bit).

very pretty! it looks great on you! i think your arms look fine, but if they bother you i would recommend 100 pushups — it will help you tone and it’s not too difficult!

I have a trainer, so there IS muscle under there…it’s just covered up by fat! Have to amp up the cardio…sigh…

What a great dress! It gives you such a nice shape! And the back of the dress is really nice too.
And that’s cool that you’re working out, though I wouldn’t stress more than necessary. 🙂 You look lovely as is.

I really like the simple dresses, I think this is a lovely choice. And the train is so dramatic!
And there is nothing, nothing, nothing wrong with your arms.
I’ve been doing increased reps with lighter weights (seriously, light, like 8 lbs) to tone a bit, because honestly I’m not interested in getting “buff” or bulking up, and it works some, but I still don’t have Michelle Obama arms. And that’s okay.
