@alyciassecret:  Wow, your ring is gorgeous! I love white sapphires and thought about getting one for my e-ring. I dont usually like squares, but you’rs is amazing!

Mine is a round brilliage moissanite, 6mm, unenhanced in white gold.

Pretty! Here’s mine, by New Zealand designer Karen Walker. It’s just silver, no jewels, but I love it ๐Ÿ™‚

@minipenguin:  Love the marquise cut!

@alyciassecret: Gorgeous sapphire!
Mine’s from Paris Jewellers; three natural princess-cut Canadian diamonds by Polar Ice on white gold. Total carat weight of 0.53. We’ve had this ring for 2 years, but he just proposed on Easter. ๐Ÿ™‚

@alyciassecret:

Thank you! I had the ring picked out; he previously confessed that he was going to buy a Canadian solitaire diamond ring from Paris Jewellers during Christmas 2010 promotion, which came with a trip for two to Mexico! (I was thinking, an all inclusive trip to Mexico? Why didn’t you?!) However, I wouldn’t have opted for solitaire anyway.

So, we went ring shopping to find out my ring size. I told him that my dream ring is Verragio, but we found out that the starting price of $1,500 doesn’t include the centre stone. Being financially tight, we were getting a mortgage set-up in summer 2011. Also, I didn’t want my SO to spend too much on an engagement ring, seeing that he has an heirloom ring from his great-great grandma that fits my finger exactly. He had wanted conflict-free diamonds and would only trust Canadian diamonds. The only thing I was picky about was how the ring looks on petite hands/short fingers. I smile when I look at this ring. The three stones represents: past, present and future for me. We’ve been together for nearly 7 years after all. Cool
