It’s pretty unlikely that a diamond is going to get scratched since it’s harder than everything else.. so if the fear is a bump, then that material doesnt seem to offer much protection for the setting.  Well, I guess it’d protect the stone from falling out if you did whack it hard enough to damage the setting.  That’s a bit much and nothing I’d ever use, but glad you found something that works for you! I’ve never seen anything like that before!

Drizzle: That’s true, it’ll definitely help protect the band.    I’m just not as concerned with the metal or damaging the ring at all I guess.  I kayak and cook with my ring and everything, and riding elephant isn’t a risky activity to me.

And a little off topic, but they usually make you sit in something strapped to the elephants back, but if you ask, they may let you ride where the trainer usually sits right at his head, then the trainer will guide it walking next to it.  So much fun!

Is it just like a piece of foam? Does it have a few different layers to it (like in the 2nd picture)?

I love my Ring Cozies! I wear them to the gym…too much equipment around to make me want to wear my ring unprotected. I’ve already had to reset a side stone that fell out of my ring, so the more protection, the better, I think!

I think this is also good for taking away from the bling factor in other country’s. You may not feel good flashing expensive jewelry in certain areas so it will help with that without having to take them off.

I think it’s better than taking it off at the gym and risking having it stolen or scratched/damaged. Great idea! thanks for sharing.
