So in June my hand was shut in a car door and rings were damaged 🙁 I didn’t get to take them to get repaired right away because we were going on our honeymoon soon after. When I took them in when I got back it took about 2 months for them to fix them.
I have been wearing a pretty awesome $8 plastic walmart set in the meantime!
Here is the before picture of my poor bent ering (and swollen finger):
10 prongs on my wedding band had to be replaced, and they had to bend my Engagement Ring back and secure the setting. Thankfully none of the stones were harmed, especially since the e-ring is a family stone that was handed down.
Darling Husband went to pick them up today (the jeweler is about 2 hours from us) and they look beautiful and brand new! I am beyond thrilled to have them back!!!!

hollyberry4: They look beautiful! I really love your set. It looks so lovely and I think the design of the band kind of picks up on the vintage sort of vibe in your ERing. I am so glad the stones were not damaged. And I hope your finger was OK, too! Yikes!

OMG soooooo pretty!! What kind of stones are the blue ones in your wedding band? It complements your ering so well!

longtimemrs: thank you! And yes my finger was fine… I actually think if I wasn’t wearing the rings I probably would have broken my finger. it closed right on the rings and stopped the door from going any farther. Pretty AND functional 😉
FutureDrAtkins: thanks! They are blue topaz. Darling Husband and I love color so we wanted to incorporate it in our bands! Here is his with mine:
