My mom found a bunch of those organza bags really cheap, but we are clueless as to what to fill them with! LOL! They are about 4"x5". I read somewhere on here that people do scratch off lottery tickets, but my mom quickly nixed that idea, so…
The cheaper, the better (obviously, since the $1 lotto ticket was too much, LOL!)

my family is italian and Fiance family is greek so what you guys call favors we call bonniere and we ALWAYS use the coated almonds so we are handing out organza bags with the traditional almonds (always use an odd number btw) with a small tag with date of wedding, our names ect

My mom wanted to do the Jordan Almonds, but I told her THAT would be more of a waste, because at a recent wedding, they had a BIG table set up with them and the story and everything, and I watched that table all night, and not a person ate one almond!

heheheheh – you anglos are so funny (remember, im from a ethnic family)… youre not suppose to eat the favors!
you take them home and put them in the display case with the ga-zillion other favors you have received over the decades at every wedding, christening, confirmation ect your entire family has ever been too. my mum has a display case filled with god knows how many of them, even now i still give her my wedding favors and in the display case they go (almonds or not).. i think im going to inherit them when she dies 🙂
i do suggest somehting edible in the bags though – what about a wedding cookie or fortune cookies?

What about a spice tin with stickers of your wedding date on them covered in organza bags? I found it while I was looking online today and thought about possibly doing it for my wedding.

If not Jordan Almonds then how about a different type of candy?
All these can be personalized and it might be cheaper if you only put a few chocolates in each bag.
I hope this helps!
