I was so excited the other day when I saw that an item had been purchased from our registry at Target….and then today it came in the mail! Yay – all sorts of exciting….except that I have NO IDEA who bought it! When I had looked at the registry, there was some information and a place for the name of the purchaser, but none listed.
Anyone have this experience? Or any ideas at all?? Who knew the first gift would cause such mixed emotions

@78science: I just posted last night that people have been buying stuff from our registry and I got sooo excited but I have no clue who bought them. I don’t know if I will get stuff at home yet, but hopefully I’ll know who it’s from, otherwise I’ll prob feel like you are. Is there a way to find out more about who purchased it, can the store help?

I would say….use word of mouth to see if someone can figure out who bought it, and call the store and see if they can at least provide the name of the purchaser!

Call customer service and ask? We got a gift from Nordstroms early on (where we weren’t even registered) and they were able to tell me who bought it.

Did you check the packing slip in the box? Same thing happened to me today. No name on the card, but the sender’s name was on the packing slip.

Yeah this has happen to me, the name is usually on the packing slip that comes in the package.

Package slip should give a name and address for the person who sent it

Like PPs said, check the packing slip 🙂 I got a gift from Target last year and had trouble finding who it was from, but I eventually found it with a little note from the guest too 🙂

There was no packing slip….the box was really banged up and it looks like if there was one it could have slipped out. I called Target and since it was purchased from the registry, they tracked it down….and told me what the nice note said 🙂 Thanks, Bees! I was hoping this wasn’t normal!!!
