What did you use to clean it?

Does it look like an oil stain on it? Try searching the forums for moissanite oil stain. Its common and you should be able to find some cleaning tips.

Try cleaning it with silver polish. Looks like there might be some oxidation happening.

Do you have a loupe?  You may think it’s clean, but until you look at it under a loupe, you could be wrong.  I have scrubbed my rings before and then checked with the loupe and sure enough, they were still dirty.  It actually looks dirty to me in the pics.

You need to clean that stone, there’s a film on it. Pretty sure that a polishing cloth and gritty polish will make it look better. For a quick fix you could try toothpaste and see if it improves.

hissoon :  looks like the dreaded stain moissanite gets.  As a pp said, scrub with silver polish, but don’t get any on your prongs or other metal. Moissanite.co used to send out a “sunshine” cloth with directions to scrub vigorously as it may take several times to remove. Maybe they’ll send you one?

hissoon :  you should be able to get it from Amazon. I got mine from Amazon.ca so I assume Amazon.con will have it too.

It just looks dirty to me.  I have the same issue with my stone where it gets dirty under the setting and I have to clean it often or take it to my jeweler and have him clean it.

I clean my rings every other day with delicate shampoo and a super soft bristle tooth brush, I try to get under the stone and into all the cracks. For me the soft toothbrush is essential!

purplepixel :  I do the same, that soft toothbrush has made all the difference, I usually use toothpaste though…
