Fiance and I went to Men’s Warehouse this morning and picked out tuxes. They probably aren’t the #1 best place to get them in terms of price, but we have people spread out all over the country and then are getting married in a different location than all of them, so it’s the easiest for pickup & return.
I was surprised they didn’t really have anything to try on!
I had been thinking I wanted the charcoal gray Vera Wang tuxes, but they were $200 each, and Fiance was only comfortable asking guys to pay $100 each (we’re underwriting the rest), so we ended up going with the cheapest option that had flat front pant – a CK model at about $150 each. They only come in black. We’ll have the dads in black vest & tie, groom in a dark silver vest & tie, and groomsmen in a dark purple (lapis at DB) vest and tie. The groomsmen’s tie really drove the rest of the decision since there were only so many shades that would go with lapis.
The flat front pant was important to me because there’s no way we’ll get all of the groomsmen to wear their pants at the right spot, and from what they said, flat looks much better in that situation than pleated.
What color tux did you go with, and did you get flat or pleated pants?

We’re doing the same tux but only the jacket pants and shirt. Do to his injuries he cant wear regular dress shoes for long so the guys are wearing boots and our friend is making our vests and ties as the camo ones menswear house has are hideous!

We went through an alterations and wedding boutique that runs a Tuxedo Junction franchise. My Fiance is wearing an Ivory tux, long line with silk edged lapels, ivory fold down shirt, ivory solid vest and a powder blue diagonally striped tie. She’s wearing ivory to match me, since she’s a bride too 🙂 Our 1 bridesman will be wearing the truffle brown tux with silk lapels and powder blue vest and tie (both solid,) as well as our son whom is our ringbearer. We chose Powder Blue over Pool because the Tuxedo Junction Pool color swatch is way more teal than the DB dresses in Pool. Powder Blue was more towards the color scheme we had been leaning towards.

we’ll probably be doing pleated pants. Flat front pants don’t look good on anyone unless they’re really, really fit!

We went through MWH! and they have been amazing for us!
we are doing the same tux for groomsmen as you ( that only comes with pleated ) but calvin cline for Fiance with flat pant.
We are doing all black tuxs and shirts with Silver Vest and Ti for Fiance Peacock for Bridesmaid or Best Man and purple for Groomsmen.

@abbie017: Interesting. MWH told us that pleated look good as long as the guys wear them up where they are supposed to be worn, but if guys sag them even a little, they start to poof out and look bad. They said if you have guys that won’t wear their pants up at their natural waist, flat front are a better fit, no matter size.
We have guys of all fitness levels, but went with flat front because of that reason. The guy with a big gut definitely will sag his pants. Hmmm. We shall see. Oh well – in reality, they’re covered up a lot by the vest and jacket!
