- Wedding: May 2013
I don’t know about ya’ll but we are paying for our wedding ourselves and I need to give a big shout out to my mom for teaching me how to shop for sales. I have used that lesson in every aspect in life, especially now with wedding planning. I am addicted to Michael’s arts and crafts store. I am there at least a few times each week. I love their “impulse items” bins, however each item is $1.50. I had had my eyes on some small frames in these bins for the past couples months and just last week when I went to Michael’s to just browse at sales, they had received their spring items and put all the “old” impluse items in a 45 cent bin and there I found all these wonderful picks! I also had a coupon for 20% off entire purchase including sales items. The best part of this shopping experience was when I went to check out and they were even less than 45 cents! I walked out of the store with 24 frames, 16 butterfly pins, 8 -12packs of gift tags, and a few other little items that I am using for my bridal party gifts, all this for only $12.48!!! It was a GREAT shopping day! What was your best shopping experience in your process of wedding planning?
