I know I want a ball gown, and I’ve narrowed it down to a couple. Similar in styiling….drop waist, either sweetheart or modified sweetheart, full skirt. Now for the fun part! 🙂 Between dress one, which is the organza asymmetrical waist gown, or dress two….which is the satin drop waist….which dress is a YES?! 🙂

@soonmrswhite: I can’t decide — no pics of you in them?
Dress 1 I like the neckline more, but that side poof at the waist is throwing me off.
Dress 2 I’m not a fan of the beading and the way the skirt starts by just poofing out!

I like the first one – but that extra fabric at the hip looks weird. or is it just me? lol
Post # 6
haha! lol so what if that extra fabric was removed? And I’m thinking a corset back instead of a zip up with a little extra beading along the edge of this one. But I love the flowy bottom on 1! *sigh* decisions, decisions. 🙂

I voted satin based on the posted pictures, but would love to see a picture of you in both to really decide!

no, I don’t have pictures of me in them. I’m going to try and hunt them down and hopefully “introduce” myself to them next month. lol

I like the satin for the time of year (fall will be the wedding) and for the regal feel of it. It will be a duchess satin.

I am totally IN LOVE with dress 1. But I’ve always loved flowy fabrics like organza and chiffon…

I Have to say number one just because that tab thing on dress one makes me think of some I should pull on. Those things dont do it for me, but both are really beautiful dresses!!

I like them both but think I’d need to see your figure in them to be definate – I’m more drawn to the 1st one though…

i love the first dress 🙂 its my first dress shopping trip on saturday and im hoping to try on dresses just like it 🙂

I like the first one minus the extra wad of fabric on the side.

I like one better, but I’m biased because I don’t like satin :P. Have you tried them on?

I love dress 1, including the extra fabric thing on the side. It kind of looks like a bow to me (hard to see in the picture) and I think it complements the full skirt.
