I am an Occupational Therapy grad. student finishing my last semester in spring 2012!!! I just finishing my first fieldwork experience in early intervention, and I loved it! It’s going to be hard to go back to classes after being in the semi real world ha ha! Good luck all!!!
Oh..and my fiance finished his masters in Statistics and is now a Biostatistician doing research in cardiology. I use to love when he came home and tried to explain to me what he learned in class that day lol.

Hey everyone! I am an MD/MPH student. I finished three years of med school so far, getting my masters in public health this year, and finishing off medical school next year. The masters in public health is a nice break from the grind of med school and actually enables me to have some free time to plan!
That’s funny our weddings are the same day because of our spring break too! Romance shromance, at least we get to go on a honeymoon right after!

Thank you! I’m pretty excited. Today, instead of studying/PowerPointing, I went shopping for a shirt and started putting together a ‘defence’ outfit. I have my priorities straight, you see. 😉

I’m a graduate student in a social psychology PhD program. I primarily study romantic relationships and stigma, I got my MA last year and my thesis was on the romantic relationships of people living with HIV. I have been a TA for various courses and I hope to teach my own summer course when I’m done. Not sure what type of job I plan to get when I finish but I have time to think about that. I am currently in my fourth year (really?!). I am done taking classes after this semester and then I need to propose my dissertation!

I’m getting my MA in English, and am finishing up PhD applications right now! It’s nervewracking but I love my field and love some schools, so I’m trying to take comfort in the fact that I’m a great fit for a couple of places (and I have a somewhat unique sub-field, so that’s got its perks but also it’s downsides, too.)

Aww well my fingers are crossed for you too! How exciting! Well when you do get in, I’d love to hear about your experience compared to going to uni here in little NZ hehe. And if you could also share with me the application process, I’d be very interested. By the way, I hope you guys in Palmy have managed to have a summer. It’s been rainy and cold up here 🙁

The new semester starts today for me (and my SO)! I’m hoping that I don’t work myself too thin over the next few months. I work full time, 70 miles from campus, and this semester I’m going to bump my course load up to full time student (I started grad school this past fall, and tip toed in at part time). I’m actually very excited for the courses I’m taking this semester, they are all in areas that I am really interested in and I’m ready to start learning! Although, I’m not looking forward to spending 3 hours on the road today, just to get to and from class.

I’m halfway through the second year of my PhD in organic chemistry. Already a bit jaded. Yay for masochism. Although I don’t have to take classes anymore, and I only have to TA for one more semester. Then it’s on to full time lab rat.
