I am in my last year of nursing school right now, which is crazy enough on its own without planning a wedding too! I will finish school a little more than a month before the wedding. I will have one month to study for the CRNE (Canada’s RN exam, like the NCLEX of the US) get licensened, go to graduation, get married, go on a honeymoon, and start LIFE! Phew. I am exhausted already.

I met my fiance a month before I graduated with my B.A. and he proposed right before the end of my second semester of my M.A. I graduated this past May and we are getting married in December. We did a lot of planning on breaks. I also worked full time during all of it! It’s so busy and hard, but worth it in the long run.  Good luck!

I did it in my last year of law school (and through taking the bar exam).  It was so hard to balance it all, but wedding planning was also a fun way to destress from school!  Good luck with everything!

I’m in my first year of medical school AND planning our wedding alone. I haven’t sat down to breathe in months! But I love it and wouldn’t trade medical school OR the wedding planning for anything in the world.

Wow, kudos to all of you!  I am planning a wedding and in my first year of my Master’s for Occupational Therapy.  I feel extremely overwhelemed.  I had been working for five years and out of the full-time student realm, except for prereq night classes needed for the program while working full time which seems so easy now.  I basically only have time for school and I feel that right now that is more important.  He proposed to me in May and we are getting married in July of 2015.  My SO has been amazing with calling the vendors and chapel and basically booking those facilities.  We have the chapel, reception venue, photographer, and dj booked.  I will not have any time to do any more wedding stuff until winter break and then during the summer before our wedding.  My mom has been amazing with helping with the centerpieces and getting all of that stuff together.  I have a hard time concentrating on both, so I have to set the wedding stuff aside for now.  Kudos to all of you who are making it sound so easy! ๐Ÿ™‚

I am in my first year of a MPH program, and Fiance is in his last year of his PhD program!  Enjoying the (at times, bumpy and stressful, but nonetheless incredible) ride!

i am not in grad school, however my fiance is, and it’s really difficult. He has no time for anything but work and school…at first I thought it would give me something to focus on and indulge myself in, however it is all 1 sided at this point..we cant plan our wedding while he is in his program, since he only has 1-2 weeks off between courses.which does not leave much time for a wedding and a honey moon, and prep for his next class. we are trying to plan it right after he finishes, but it is also hurricane season then, so i have no idea what to do!!

Fiance is in his last year of his bachelor’s, I’m in my second year of my master’s, and I work two jobs. It sucks, to be sure, because we’re trying to plan a wedding when he might be in a different city (depending on where he gets a job after his degree), I’ll be working on finishing my thesis and graduating within a couple months of the wedding, and of course our lease ends the day of the wedding. *sigh* We’ll be moving to a new apartment hopefully a couple months before the wedding, and eating the costs of an early moveout for sanity’s sake. I’m so glad Fiance has been involved, and that we started dang early for planning! Otherwise I’m pretty sure I’d go insane. ๐Ÿ˜›

I’m in my final year of grad school. We are dual military. I graduate (we are stationed on the east coast) , we get married (on the west coast), and move to our next duty station (somewhere else on the east coast) within a month (May-June). I used to peruse this site ALL the time. Not so much anymore. I’m glad that our venue is all inclusive. Other than that we would be in bad shape.

Yes, I am in grad school as well. I am in my first year of my MSW program. Our semester ends December 22nd and I am getting married December 26th! I have been so easily distracted with wedding related stuff but I have been making a conscious effort to get ahead on school work to avoid stressing out in December. Not to mention the craziness of the holiday season!! Good luck to all!

Also in grad school. Luckily I’m finished with the classes but I have to complete my thesis which I will hopefully do before my wedding in October 2015. I’m in an Ecology program.

Yes!  I’m getting my second bachelors degree and teaching licensure and planning a wedding AND working 50 hours a week as a full-time nanny.  So lack of time is an understatement.  I’m doing online classes in Spring and Summer I already decided, but I start on campus classes August 24th the day after my wedding ๐Ÿ˜› It’ll all work out I’m sure, but busy!  I know exactly how you feel, because all i want to do is wedding related things and no motivation for school at all! ๐Ÿ™‚
