SeaOfLove :  This is such a good idea! 🙂

Your age/partner’s age: 29/31

Estimated Due Date: 3/6/18 (making me 10 weeks)

Baby #: 1

# of cycles TTC: 8 TTC cycles but, 10 total. I had a MC at 11 weeks in April.

Did you try anything new the cycle you got your BFP? Yes! Along with charting & OPKS, we did the holy trinity of Pre-Seed/Mucinex/Instead Cups. I guess it worked! (I was also taking EPO, Vitex, B-Complex, & Pre-natals)

What are you most excited for with this pregnancy? Getting a take-home baby!

What are you most worried about with this pregnancy? Another loss. It’s getting a little easier as I progress further along, have seen baby and heard a strong heartbeat multiple times. Also, I’m selfishly worried about weight gain and never getting my body back. I already had some extra weight from the MC pregnancy so I’m definitely already heavier than I’ve ever been and am definitely starting to have a bit of a belly..!

Did you/are you finding out the sex? Or are you Team Green? Team green!

What advice do you have for current POASers? Advocate for yourself! If something seems wrong, trust your gut. Also, find people (even just on these boards) to lean on. It can be such a scary, lonely, stressful time, TTC. Oh–and try to enjoy these last pre-baby days. Soon enough you’ll feel like crap, look chubby, and not even want to think about BDing. (Or maybe that’s just me…)

Your age/partner’s age:  30/30

Estimated Due Date: Christmas Eve! I am 20+3 today 🙂

Baby #: 1

# of cycles TTC: Fell pregnant after 8 cycles, miscarried at 8 weeks and then took another 3 cycles to fall pregnant with this baby, so 11, was just about to start clomid.

Did you try anything new the cycle you got your BFP? Both times I got a BFP I was using baby asprin, BD every second day until positive OPK and then every day for 3 or 4 days till my temperature confirmed ovulation.

What are you most excited for with this pregnancy? My due date haha, I cannot wait to hold my baby

What are you most worried about with this pregnancy? I was a lot more anxious this pregnancy that I would lose him. Even now that I am over half way through I am still a little nervous, it has gotten better though!

Did you/are you finding out the sex? Or are you Team Green? Team Blue! We are having a little boy

What advice do you have for current POASers? I have to echo DrunkInLove :  find people to lean on, that are going through it themselves or have experienced it. It is very easy to feel like you are on your own and everyone and their dog is falling pregnant around you. It was a lot harder than I thought it would be and these boards are an absolute lifesaver, you are not alone and you will get there and when you do it will all be worth it.

Your age/partner’s age: 24/30

Estimated Due Date: March 4, 2018 – I’m 10+2 today 🙂

Baby #: 1

# of cycles TTC: 6 TTC, but 8 cycles of infertility treatments (2 before we got married since I knew I wasn’t ovulating)

Did you try anything new the cycle you got your BFP? I stopped taking one of my meds because we learned that it was possibly canceling out the effects of Metformin. We were also on our delayed honeymoon, so I think I was a bit more relaxed and less focused on TTC.

What are you most excited for with this pregnancy? Holding my baby 🙂

What are you most worried about with this pregnancy? I’m having serious trouble getting my doctor to help me with my blood sugar issues, so I’m really worried about hurting the little bean if I can’t keep my levels steady.

Did you/are you finding out the sex? Or are you Team Green? Finding out as soon as possible. I always thought I would be team green, but now I’m just so excited to give the baby their name that I can’t wait.

What advice do you have for current POASers? Absolutely be your own advocate. I had so much trouble with doctors not listening to me and refusing to help me figure out the underlying issues that were causing my fertility problems. Once I started standing up for myself more it got a lot easier.

SeaOfLove :  I’ve started to really love Henry in the last week or so, it has always been on my list but I’m really loving it. Harrison is probably the other top contender for me as well ☺️

How are you going, have you had any appointments yet?

SeaOfLove :  such a great idea!

Your age/partner’s age: 31/31

Estimated Due Date: 11/30/17 – already 24 weeks!

Baby #: 1

# of cycles TTC: 7 months but only 4 cycles, wasn’t ovulating on my own so 3 of those cycles were a result of probers inducing a period and clomid.

Did you try anything new the cycle you got your BFP? 2nd round of clomid, B6 during luteal phase

What are you most excited for with this pregnancy? Meeting our son!

What are you most worried about with this pregnancy? going too early/going late, the baby getting too big, the baby being too small – gosh worrying starts early.

Did you/are you finding out the sex? Or are you Team Green? Having a boy!

What advice do you have for current POASers? Trust that it will all be worth it in the end. Don’t hesitate to reach out to people who are also TTC, it’s so common to struggle and you shouldn’t have to feel like you are on an island

SeaOfLove :  Great idea for a thread. 🙂

Your age/partner’s age: 36/33

Estimated Due Date: February 27, 2018

Baby #: This would be our first baby carried to term. We lost our forst boy last year at 18.5 weeks.

# of cycles TTC: I think 3 after the M/C. It took 3 years of no birth control the first time though!

Did you try anything new the cycle you got your BFP? Just tried tracking everything with the Ovia app more diligently.

What are you most excited for with this pregnancy? I’m excited to get over all the hurdles and into a more ‘safe’ zone. I’m excited to finally tell people. I’m excited to actually look pregnant instead of just a bit fatter and feeling rubbish! I’m excited to see DH be a dad. I guess I’m just excited for a new adventure and experience.

What are you most worried about with this pregnancy? Because we lost our little guy, I am terrified that it might happen again. I’m scared of the NIPT test reslts and finding anything during scans. In a larger sense I’m scared of life changing so much and losing my identity. Stress on marriage. I’m just a bundle of scared, really, but trying to be calm as possible.

Did you/are you finding out the sex? Or are you Team Green? Team Green all the way!

What advice do you have for current POASers? Take things one day at a time. Don’t stress or make this part of your life all-emcompasing. Enjoy life, have fun with your partner. This is actually a great part of life. Decide how far you are willing to go to make a baby happen and what you can do to be happy if it’s not in the cards. Be honest with yourself and your partner. Good luck!
