I will be getting married May 11 of next year then graduating college one week later! I am in Elementary Education, so I am hoping that I will get a job over the summer and start work that August! Good luck to you! 🙂

I’m graduating on Oct. 3 and the wedding is on Nov. 3 – yes, exactly 1 month apart! On top of that, Fiance is graduating on Oct. 22. I’m a freelance graphic designer and he’s doing web design/development. We’re both working PT .. I’m doing some design for a market and he works at the bank. We’re expecting to be poor and we’re already pinching pennies.. it’s gonna be rough but it’s all worth it!

Sorry it took me forever to respond! I’ve been working on finishing school and I just submitted my last assignment yesterday!! Ah! Now I’m off on the job hunt! It’s really stressful, because I feel like we will need my income to live comfortably. It’s really nice to know that there are so many of you in the same boat as me!
@IngridS: Obviously it is your decision whether or not you walk at graduation, but in my own opinion, I think you will be happy if you do! Even though there is so much stress, you’ve accomplished something huuuge and it might be nice to have a memory and acknowledgement 🙂 obviously it varies from person to person though!
Sometimes I think smaller weddings are nicer! My wedding isn’t going to be super small, but it is definitely not huge. It is mostly just family with some close friends and then a few friends of our parents. It will give you a better opportunity to see everyone and still have leftover time to just enjoy yourself! 🙂
I bet you are all pretty stressed! It wasn’t even so much the wedding planning that was stressful for me (I have a lot of people I can delegate to, especially my mom), but more the stress of having a job and a place to live once we get there!
Only 4 more months! 🙂
