Thats pretty common around here. Alot of people donate them to either nursing homes or hospitals. It’s a great idea.

Awww that’s a lovely idea! We gave a few out to our neighbours, and I brought one to my grandmother’s nursing home. Unfortunately though the silver (although not real silver thankfully) teapot it was in went “missing”, so I’d just be aware that whatever you distribute may not return, so don’t go giving away the family heirlooms or anything πŸ˜‰

Along those same lines, if you have a family member in a nursing home who can’t make it to the wedding, it’s nice to dress up in your wedding clothes and go visit with a few photos. We did this for my grandma and it gave everyone in the home a real kick to see a bride and groom all dressed up! It really lit up their day I think! I sort of want to do it again, I loved seeing everyone so happy and excited πŸ™‚
