I haven’t been to my venue since the initial sales pitch which happened almost exactly a year ago. I vaguely remembered certain details and suggestions but it had been so long, I just couldn’t remember spedific things.
Me and FH setup a meeting with the venue coordinator to talk about meal plans and logistics. I had been so worried about things like who would set up my DIY flowers, my vegan menu suggestions and other general logistical questions. Luckily – everything went smoothly and I feel much better about things. About two days before the meeting with the venue I was ready to call off the whole thing – just feeling stressed out with all of the tasks in front of us.
I realize that the venue coordinator works for the venue and not for me. I’m sure things will happen that aren’t exactly like I’ve pictured in my mind. But I am so much more confident now that they will handle things just fine – this is what they do every day, twice a day.
Just wanted to share some positive news with everyone since most of my posts tend to have a negative overtone.
