Yesterday we pass a jeweler in the mall as we were on our way to dinner and i not so subtly hinted at it. He asked if i wanted to go take a look, but said no as we were meeting someone. First of all, let me say i have the most wonderful man. We met one of my girlfriends having a tough time with her Boyfriend or Best Friend and my heart just melted as he sat there telling her she is beautiful and doesn’t need to take any of this stuff from her loser Boyfriend or Best Friend. (as in a whole list he wrote out saying she is fat, needs to tan, needs to learn how to dress, have confidence – yeah thats a great way to build it up) They had never met before so it really means a lot to me he was so sweet.
THEN after dinner he asked me again if i wanted to look so we went in and i was off browsing at rings he was talking to the jeweler about different types, quality, certifications. I tried on a couple rings and confirmed i like a more simple style. The jeweler asked him a question and he said “i dont know the different styles – just whatever makes her happy” he talked to them about pricing etc. I know we are in no financial position to purchase a ring at this moment as we are in the middle of trying to move, but it was really great! It is a very good step in the right direction!
