So they are all fakes?

(Edit: that sounds snarky, it’s not meant to be, just wondering!)

Love this site.  The shoes are an absolute steal and it’s very popular in the UK 🙂

@skyeatnight: I’d never heard of it before! Have you ever ordered from there?

I don’t support knock offs because it isn’t fair to the designers!

Just want to say that if that site really does sell ‘fakes’ than it is illegal and I wouldn’t want to shop there…

Warning on this…while I have gotten one great deal on this site I also got majorly screwed. It happened awhile ago so granted things may have changed since 5 years ago but I ordered from this site and lost $150.00. I tried to buy a bag, it never came and when I complained to the website they put a warning on the guys account – he turned around and charged me 3x’s what he should have because he was mad and the site didn’t do anything to help me. After almost a year of dealing with it I just got fed up and gave up. I will never use this site again.

@MrsPinkPeony: did you try to dispute that with the credit card company?  i cant believe that they would allow unauthroized charges to stick.

@pinkshoes: I actually paid with paypal who successfully prevented him from trying to steal more money from me but they couldn’t reimburse me anything because Ioffer was being difficult. It was a really huge mess.

It isn’t hugely different from ebay and you can get screwed just as badly there.  Same concept of people selling things and you hoping they arrive once you’ve made payment.  Not all of the shoes, coats, handbags are fake (just like ebay) so it’s worth checking it out.

@OhBeeHive84: I’m going to second this but more importantly supporting counterfit goods = supporting human trafficking.

Individuals that are trafficked around the world tend to be involved in illegal activities, one of which is counterfeiting. There is a reason goods are so cheap, the people making them are either underpaid or not paid at all.

This an older article but nothing has changed really: http://www.harpersbazaar.com/magazine/feature-articles/the-fight-against-fakes-0109_

Just to point out IOFFER is just a lesser known EBAY.  This site doesn’t soley deal with fake items but as with all auction places etc there willbe fake items on there.  I’m not believing that everything on Ebay is genuine.  It really is just a lesser known Ebay – nothing major for people to get worked up about.  I see that you can get fake goods, from private sellers on Ebay – I suppose it’s up to the individual if they want to go down that route or not IMO.
