Has anyone done it? It looks simple enough, so I’m thinking about starting it today. I’ve been doing the low carb diet for a few weeks now but wanted something a little more.
Yes, I have also been exercising as well but I want to see faster results.
If you have, let me know, and what you think of it.

So you can only eat green vegetables and meat? I would worry about getting enough calcium and other nutrients. With any diet, I would check with a medical professional before starting it.

@Ms. Sparkles: I have a friend who does fitness competitions and she uses this diet plan. She only does it for about 5 weeks before the competition and she combines it with supplements and water loading. Obviously you wouldn’t want to be doing the water loading because that is for show day muscle definition.
If you’re looking to shed pounds fast right before your wedding than this is a great way. Obviously there will be people who raise questions about health concerns, but if you keep balanced by adding supplements while follwing this plan you will be fine. Just be sure to not reduce your caloric intake too much or you won’t see good results if your body goes into “starvation mode.”
Also, I would reccomend this for short term only. If you want to keep the pounds off after the wedding than you need to find a more sustainable diet plan. Eating like this over a long period of time can have some adverse effects. I will be doing it only for the last 3 weeks before my wedding because we’ll be in Mexico and I want a rocking bikini bod. I have a liquid supplement that tastes like crap, but very nutritious that I take when dieting like this.
Good luck. Keep healthy.

I was only planning to do it for 4 weeks. I entered into this challenge at my gym for body transformation and they recommended this diet, with supplements, and lot of exercise. The challenge is four 8 weeks but they also reccomended to only go on this for 4 weeks to detox the body and activate metabolism.
I just wanted to see if anyone has tried it and their results.

@Ms. Sparkles: Everytime my friend has done this diet she looks amazing afterward. Last time I think she dropped down from a size 7/8 to a size 3/4 in about 3 weeks. She also works out incrediably hard. Every time she does this “cleanse” diet she looks toned and fabulous in a matter of DAYS. I do have to say that when she is getting close to competitions and hasn’t been eating much she does get really tired and cranky. That’s the downside to having such a small and limiting diet. Her one cheat was diet sodas.
Last time she was down to eating only boiled chicken and spinach with mustard. She literally ate that and pretty much only that for 2 weeks straight!! She went from having some baby weight and not working out for a long time to looking like she should be on the cover of Sports Illustrated. It does work if you commit to it.
Right now I’m following her plan, but my meals also include some wheat (whole wheat wraps) and dairy (skim milk, low fat yogurt). I think if you’re still far out from your goal weight it might be easiest to start this way and slowing wene yourself off of other foods. Reducing your carbs already will be a big help.

A friend of mine did this the month before her wedding– it worked great. She said the first few days were the hardest, but this diet helped her drop the last pounds that she wanted to. Also, I wouldn’t worry too much about calcium, as leafy green vegetables (kale, brocolli, brussle sprouts) are actually very high in calcium.
Good luck! Come April 1, I might be on this band wagon!
