Has anybody used or will anybody be using green leaves instead of flower petals? Either to line your aisle or for the flower girl to drop?
I’ve seen leaves used in fall weddings but I was thinking of using green leaves. I don’t really like the look of flower petals and I figure I could get leaves cheaper/easier.
Any thoughts? Good/bad idea?

We’re lining our ceremony aisle with leaves but we’re having a fall themed wedding outside. I don’t think that I would use leaves for a wedding in May but if thats what you want to do, go for it. Is your ceremony outside?

I think that’s a cool idea actually! So cool, I might steal it myself for my fall rustic wedding

I think its a really cool idea too, and something I’ve never seen so that’s a bonus. The only thing I would mention is that depending on where your aisle is/what color it is the leaves may not “pop”.

@babymilka74: It’s outside and on cement (unless I find a runner somewhere) so I actually think green leaves would stand out more than most flower petals, unless I used bright red and again I just don’t really like the look of flower petals.

I love this idea. Wish I had thought of it!
