We were not planning on having greeters or ushers or guestbook attendents or anything of that sort at our wedding. However, we met with our venue yesterday and were told we are required to have two “unofficial greeters” to welcome people when they get to our location, direct them towards the gift table, coat room, restrooms, or whatever else they need. First of all, I have no clue who to ask to do this (my closest friends are already in the wedding, and it seems like a bit of a crap job). Second – I’ve already created our programs and just don’t have room for two more names – do they have to go in the program?
