Hello my fellow bee’s,
Im new to Wedding bee, and I can honestly say Im soo excited to join the community. I’m head over heels in love with my boyfriend and lately we’ve gotten on the topic of marriage. We’re planning on getting married within the next 16 months or so. He hasn’t purchased a ring, or offically popped the quiestion we just both know that marriage is the goal. I’m extremely interested in having him buy a moissanite engagement ring and wedding band. Im thinking– http://www.moissaniteco.com— can any bee’s give me a personal experience from ordering from this site. If anyone would kindly post a picture of their moissanite rings I would greatly appreciate it. Also the quiestion of the hour is- Do you regret not getting a diamonbd and chosing moissanite? I look forward to your responses !

Welcome, Bee! Here is my moissy e-ring. It’s a Forever One oval from Charles & Colvard set in a 1.5 mm white gold halo from Rosado’s Box (aka Love and Promises Jewelers; got mine from their Etsy store). The center stone is 8×6 mm (1.5 carat equivalent). I cannot say enough good things about that seller. The selection is fantastic, the customer service is even better, & you can customize their jewelry. My fiancé & I loved working with them & they answered every question we had very quickly.
Do I regret getting moissanite instead of a diamond? HECK NO. I love my moissy because it’s absolutely beautiful! The fire can’t be accurately captured in a picture. She shines and sparkles like no stone I’ve ever seen! I had a 1 carat emerald solitaire (past relationship) with flank pear diamonds and didn’t get half the compliments I do on my moissanite ring. But my favorite thing about it is that it’s unique, goes against the grain of “everyone has to have a diamond”, it’s not nearly as expensive (my Fiance could afford a diamond this size but I refused to let him pay such a ridiculous amount when they depreciate as soon as you walk out of the store). I had my ring appraised for insurance and it appraised for almost $1k more than he paid. And I love that they’re conflict free. No guilt! I think they’re beautiful stones and I wouldn’t trade it for anything!!

Here is my ring. It is a Forever One 1.5 carat (7.5mm) stone. The setting is custom made by another jeweler but the stone is from moissaniteco.com. I ordered it and had it sent to my jeweler directly and it got there on time with no issues! MoissaniteCo can also do custom work as well.
I do not regret Moissanite at all! It is a beautiful stone, super sparkly and the price let me get exactly what I wanted in a ring.
Diamonds were never something I felt like I “needed” I just loved the way they sparkled and their appearance overall. I didn’t know there were alternatives other then Cz that would last forever like a diamond so I am so happy I came across the bee and learned about it.
So sorry if this picture is huge I am on my phone! Finger size is 7.75 for reference.

I have an 8×6 emerald cut moissanite in a rose gold halo! Absolutely no regrets here! I loooove my ring and I get compliments on it all the time. My Fiance purchased from MoissyCo and said they were great to work with, no issues. I’ve never felt like a diamond is the only acceptable stone, mostly because I’ve seen the history behind all that marketing campaign stuff.
Let’s face it, diamonds are expensive, but are also intrinsically worthless. Don’t believe me, just ask Nicky Oppenheimer, De Beers’s chairman, who said “diamonds are intrinsically worthless, except for the deep psychological need they fill”.
Feeling like you’ll be judged for a personal choice that doesn’t hurt anyone but a CEO’s pocketbook is more of a statement on the people that will judge you than it is about your choice.
Anywho /rant off, here’s my ring!

I have a 8mm forever one cushion cut ring from Rosado’s Box (Love and Promises Jewelers; via their Etsy store as well). I have a size 6.25 finger. I love my ring and never think about wanting a diamond. The only thing I would change is I would get an anitque cushion but they didn’t make those when we got my ring made.

soon2bmerrell36 : It’s beautiful!! I was between cushion and oval and yours looks great on you! LOVE Rosado’s Box! I’m ordering my wedding bands from them as well just because of how great an experience it was. 🙂

Not the best picture, but my fiance bought my ring from MoissaniteCo and had no problems whatsoever! He emailed back and forth with customer service for a few days, and they were super friendly and professional! This stone is a 1.5 carat Forever One, size 5.5 finger.
I definitely don’t regret telling him to buy moissanite because it’s beautiful and way more affordable! It’s been almost a month and I can’t stop staring at my ring. My mom actually thought it was a real diamond for a while too, until I told her it wasn’t. But yeah, absolutely no regrets!!

Two pictures, different lighting. In one the stone is more white-like and in the other you can see all the rainbow-y flashes. 😍
Mine is an 8x10mm emerald cut in white gold. Custom made based off of a Leon Mege 5 stone setting.
I absolutely love my moissy and am so glad I decided to go this route. It is gorgeous and just what I wanted!

Here’s mine, bought from the MoissaniteCo site. I absolutely love moissanite and find it preferable to diamond in larger sizes. (Halo/band stones are diamond)
