@SapphireSun: thanks for the reply! i have a couple follow ups if you don’t mind – is the quarry color as light as in the picture or is it just because of the light and actually darker? and also do you know about how much they were? if i remember correctly, alfred sung is pretty reasonable but thought i’d check in case i’m off base! thanks!

My girls wore Bill Levkoff- Euro Grey. I don’t have any pictures with me at work but their website is pretty good.

@jillieb: That is hands-down my favorite inspiration board too…I drool over it all the time.

I am doing gray dresses, but a darker gray, called Ebony by Alfred Sung (can find it through the Dessy website).  My bridesmaids all seemed to be on board with it and some even mentioned that they thought they might wear the dress again (that would be a plus, but I’m not holding my breath on any of them wearing them again!).

We are doing dark purple calla lily bouquets with the gray dresses.

I’m doing grey dresses!  Love the idea.  Pretty much everyone looks good in grey.  And unlike a lot of more traditional bridesmaid dress colors (e.g., pink, red, blue), it’s a color girls will wear again.

@IlsaLund:

My mom and I fell in love with the gray dress when I went to try on my own dress. Saja sells it in ivory, but for some reason I think it is made to be gray.

@carly5482:  I am also thinking of going with the Ebony Alfred Sung dresses!  I prefer the material of the Quarry, but the darkness of the Ebony.

Which style # are you going with?

@carly5482:  I am also thinking of using the Alfred Sung Ebony dresses!  I have 5 bridesmaids, but only two are in town with me, and when we went to try them on, the sample size was HUGE on one girl and TINY on the other.  So I really didn’t get a good sense for them at all.

Which style are you going with?

I’m doing grey/charcoal bridesmaid dress too!! I’m going to use pink bouquets. I really love the Bari Jay style 102.

Do you guys think that black strappy sandals would look best with the bridesmaid dresses?

@Meghan – I know this post is kinda old, but my girls are wearing the same dress, and we’re having fuschia flowers!  I think black would look good.  They’re wearing fuschia shoes I found.

Good choice though:)

Im looking for a simple grey dress for our Winter wedding and I am leaning toward this one from Alfred Angelo! It just came out! I like the simplicity of it!
