(Closed) Grooms Tux…a bit much or what? (color)

  • poll: Color choices?

    Black would still look great.

    Gray would look better.

    Either one, not a big deal.

    Groom in a black tux, groomsmen in a gray tux.

    I think black would be fine. But him in black and the GM’s in gray would look cool too. Maybe he can have a gray vest and the GM’s can have black vests. Black is a neutral so I don’t think it really counts as another color if it’s only in the tuxes.

    I think black would be fine.  Remember not every detail of the wedding has to match.  That would just be impossible.  These things won’t be looked at in an inspiration board format.  Only the decor will really be looked at as a whole.  But people are not decor and not accessories so they don’t need to match with the tablecloths and centerpieces.

    Don’t forget about charcoal tuxes. The men will think they are black and they will just be a darker version of grey.

    If you to-be-husband has a strong preference about color, I would defer to him.  You likely picked your own outfit (and Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses); I think it’s fair for him to pick his outfit (and Groomsmen tuxes).
