My Fiance also wanted his guys to just wear any old suit, color didn’t even matter to him.  Guys don’t get it.  So I told him if they arn’t going to have matching outfits then I’ll ONLY just have my matching girls up there instead.

Did your Fiance already tell the guys that they could wear their own suits?

If so, it’s going to be awkward to try to change, because their decision to accept as a groomsman could have been influenced by that fact.

Are you financially able to pick up the rental for the suits? If so, that would be an easy out, although unfair to the bridesmaids.

I guess the first person you have to convince that the different suits won’t give you the look you are going for, is your Fiance.

Can you ask the guys to send you pics of the suits so you can show them to your Fiance side by side, then show him some wedding pics with the men wearing all the same suit for comparison?

I had the opposite problem. I was fine with the boys wearing their own stuff and not matching, but my hubby said no to that and made them go buy new outfits.

I feel like if you already told them they could wear their suits, you shouldn’t just take it back. If you have them wearing matching ties and bouts, it could help tie their look together.

You’re not being a Bridezilla at all. You have every right to want your guys attire to be up to par. Actually, I’m going through something similar with our guys attire.

Mens Warehouse is currently having buy 1 get 1 for $100 sale. The suits that we’re looking at would come out to $150 a piece, which if you ask me is pretty damn good for a suit.
