A good work friend of mine is getting married towards the end of next month wants to put together a little something (nothing too flashy) for her Groom- so that he too can have something old, new, borrowed and blue- and is struggling to come up with ideas. I thought you Bees might have some suggestions ( you always do!)
Today at work we came up with-
OLD: love letters, photos, an old bottle of whatever he drinks
NEW: Anything- pocket square, lapel pin, tie clip, an instant camera to make/take new memories/photos
Borrowed: No Idea
Blue: A hand written love note in blue ink or on blue paper perhaps…
Do you have any ideas?

My Darling Husband loved what I got him… I got him a new wallet and a little copper love note insert from etsy. His old wallet was falling apart so it was definitely a something new! Something like this: http://www.etsy.com/listing/80628105/wallet-insert-card-copper-hand-stamped
Maybe she could “borrow” $5 from his and put it in the wallet as his something borrowed!

Borrow pocketwatch, cuff links or tie, a blue pocket square maybe.

Blue cufflinks- love these if he is into fishing

Could he “borrow” his dads’ cufflinks or a tie pin?

What does he like – I would start there. My fiance loves to drink, so I got him a set of whisky glasses engraved with a monogram, a bottle of whisky, and I “wrapped” it all in a chest that I got from a craft store and stained. I also inlcuded a love note that I wrote to him.
If he’s into drinking she could do something like that:
New – the glasses
Old – old bottle of booze that he likes
Blue – note wrote in blue ink
Borrowed – line the box with an extra pocket square borrowed from his dad/grandfather or put in a borrowed tie pin
