Well at the beginning of the planning proccess my SO decided he wanted nothing to do with it. He would plan the honeymoon. At first I was a little upset but after awhile I got used to it. Well every once in awhile he has such strong opinions over the smallest things. The one that has really took me for a loop is him wearing a white suit. Yes, that’s right, WHITE! At first I thought he was joking but he keeps bringing it up. What would you do if your fiance wanted to wear white.

I would not care unless I was wearing ivory/champagne. I think it would be weird if one of you was wearing a “whiter” shade than the other person.

As long as the whites match, why not? I once saw a groom wearing white and a bride wearing red!

I personally do not like guys in all white, I think it looks funny, my Fiance doesnt like it either. And there is no contrast in the photos, its like a white blob. If he wants to wear white how about a black tux with a white shirt, white vest and white tie/ or bowtie? I think that is a very clasic look, you both match and encorporates the white, but is not too much white!

i dont like white suits and yes, my guy would hear my thoughts if he wanted to wear one – its not the 80’s anymore

White suits or tuxes remind me of cheesy musicals.

I would let him wear a white dinner jacket with black pants, but not an entirely white outfit. It’s just not a good look.

I would absolutely not let him. I know guys get few chances to make the wedding “theirs” also.. but I absolutely despise the tacky white tuxs. And I dont care if they are white/cream/egg shell/off white. They are just a NO

I would say “hell no!!!” That’s what I would say.

haha thanks ladies, i couldn’t agree more. i think a guy in white is tacky, plus i’m wearing ivory.

I highly highly doubt my SO would want to wear white. I voted that I would say nothing. I plan on wearing gray or something so he should be able to wear whatever he wants too.

I like guys in white/off white linen for tropical weddings, but I really am not a fan of white tuxes or white suits.

I personally prefer black. I think it is just more traditional and classy looking.

It wouldn’t happen at my wedding. Haha.

I would say absolutely. Hell, if he wanted to wear polka dots I’d say yes. As long as it’s a suit I don’t care.
