We started our health kick in Feb. Back in Dec we bought him his wedding suit (didn’t want to get married in a rental and he needed a new suit anyway) Well he tried it on last night…. he looked like a little kid who snuck into his dad’s closet!! So now we have to get him a new suit the week before the wedding!! My dad hasnt bought a new suit yet for the event either, so he said he would take my fi shopping while I do girly wedding stuff. I am thrilled he has lost weight, but it’s annoying we have to get him new clothes.

Depending on how much the first suit cost and how much weight he’s lost, you could also look into just getting a tailor to take it in — if the shoulders and length are the same, it might be easier and cheaper than getting a new suit.
And if it makes you feel any better, my fiance has to get his suit custom made (he is simultaneously too tall, too skinny, and too broad-shouldered for anything off the rack, even if we got the high-end slim-fit suits tailored) — which means his wedding day outfit will cost several times as much as mine! I actually think it makes more sense to splurge on a really nice suit for a guy than on a wedding dress, though — I’ll probably never wear my wedding dress again, but he’ll get a ton of wear out of the suit.

We got the suit at Syms for $69 markdown 50% off liek 3 times (i think originally it was $300). So we are just going to get him a new one I think. I agree buying a suit makes more sense than dress, it’s just annoying it’s one more thing I thought we crossed off the list which we are revisiting!
