I’m getting married in about 6 weeks and I need a little help with the gift for my future bride. I already have an idea of what I want, but i’m not sure how to do it.
A bit of background: I’m a bit of a book nerd. I probably average 3 books/month and have annoyed my fiance to no end over the past 4 years with my habit of reading at least an hour every night before bed before I can go to sleep. No matter what time we call it a day, I have to get my hour of reading in. Anyways, throughout this time, I’ve been marking passages in my favorite novels that make me think of her. Most are sappy love metaphors or love lines, but some are quite humorous and I think speak to her quirks.
Anyways, I have about 8 quotes that I’ve narrowed down as my favorite. What I wanted to do was frame the quotes in an artistic manner/design but I can’t seem to find anything that allows for the quantity of passages. I was thinking of framing the actual words themselves in some design OR framing a picture of the 2 of us with the quotes surrounding it as a frame. But like I said, I can’t seem to find anything on Etsy or elsewhere that has something like this so I thought I would turn to the Wedding Bee community!
Any crafty people who could point me in the right direction or respond with a better suited idea would be greatly appreciated!!

We have a frame shop where we live and they were able to create a frame to showcase various things we wanted to mount together. Do you have a frame shop where you live? They’ll be able to advise you on print and layout etc.

or this… different fonts for the different quotes?

How’s your handwriting? I would get some nice linen paper, and some small, matching frames (unless she likes the eclectic look). Handwrite (or hire/find someone with nice handwriting) each quote you found, and frame them individually. Place them one by one for her to find in the weeks leading up to the wedding, with your favorite on the day of, or give them all to her at once. She could hang them all up as a gallery wall surrounding your wedding photos, or she could place them around your home to always find a little note from you when she’s going about her day. Similar to these:

Aww, how sweet! There are “window pane” picture frames that you can use to frame all of the quotes (maybe print them out in a nice font?) and maybe a picture of you two– here’s a couple of options:
P.S., I just noticed your username– love it haha.

Why don’t you do a scrapbook/album of quotes and you can include your favorite photos of the two of you together?
In My Humble Opinion…it’s less bulky and easier to give to her on the wedding day.

Wow, I wasn’t expecting so many responses so quickly! To answer one of the questions above, 1 passage in particular is about a page long. The others are 1-2 sentences. All in all, they’d be about a full page on Microsoft Word using 12 pt arial font. (To give you an idea of the text density)

You could always contact a professional caligrapher and have him/her rewrite your favourite passage then frame it.

You say that you’re a book nerd, but is she? Will she get the same level of enjoyment from this gift as you will? Be sure you’re not giving her something that you’ll like Better than she will.

Horseradish : No, she’s not. i just thought the gift would represent a true piece of who I am and that I see her in the books I read.
