Yesterday Fiance and I went to the tux shop for a groom try on. I had them order in both the charcoal grey and the black tux that I was liking thinking that one would be for groomsmen and the other would be for fathers.
I loved how he looked in both, but he preferred how he looked in black, but though his groomsmen would look good in Charcoal. My mind has been going crazy since then- would that look ok? Groom in black, groomsmen in grey? then fathers in matching black tuxes (with different vest/tie)? Should I ignore his opinion on it and just make him wear grey too?

As long as they all have pants on…I would count it as a win

The men should wear whatever your groom prefers for them to wear. You want you’re Fiance to be happy in his tux as much you want him to only want you to be happy in your dress. I wouldn’t worry about it, it will look great either way.

We get to stand out in the big white dress, why not let him have a special day too? My groom will be in a gray tux and his guys and the dads are in black.

I like the look of the groomsmen in grey suits, but I’m doing all black suits. Groom in black suit with ivory shirt, black tie, black vest. Groomsmen in black suit, ivory shit, grey vest and canary yellow tie. Dad in black suit white or ivory shirt and blue vest and tie.
