Hello! We’re looking for a ring for my Fiance and would love to hear what metals/ shops you all went with. My mister is a spray-painter sand blaster and also weightlifts almost every night, so we’re looking for something very durable.
I’ve also read horror stories of people being injured because of wearing their wedding rings, should he just take his ring off during work and the gym? Not just urban myths, I actually know a man in real life who almost lost his finger because of an accident while he was wearing his wedding band… That kind of leaves sleeping and weekends for the ring only which I’m fine with, but he says he’d rather have a ring he can wear every day. Are any of your husbands involved in similar activities and what do they do about their rings?

I would check out the Qalo silicone rings. I think that would be a perfect idea in this situation. Maybe also getting something more traditional for the wedding/ weekends, etc. I think the damascus steel rings from Revolution Jewelry are absolutely to die for.

amandajane4949: Wow those are beautiful thanks for the link.
I think I have convinced him to do a Qalo for the work week and then a nice black titanium ring for special events!

Just FYI if you go with a tungsten ring, remember they are not sizable. So if there is weight gain, a new ring will have to be brought.
