The dude in the photo can definitely pull it off! ๐Ÿ˜€ so it depends on how good your Fiance can work it I guess lol. With your wedding outside and presumerably in the hot summer sun I don’t think it’d look too out of place ๐Ÿ™‚

I think not wearing a tie is appropriate for your (gorgeous!) venue. If that’s what you Fiance wants to do, who cares what Father-In-Law says?

I’m partial to what the groom wants. For example, my Fiance is wearing a three piece grey suit cause that’s what he wanted… Groomsmen will not be wearing the jacket. Try them both out. see how you feel. But taking his preferences into consideration didn’t hurt before, so it may not hurt now. Good luck!

My Darling Husband didn’t wear a tie, and he looked great and was comfortable! I say, go for it ๐Ÿ™‚

go for it!  My Fiance is the type of guy to never wear a tie! I am sure he would have agreed to wear a suit if i told him he didnt need to wear a tie.

    +its your wedding.

Yes, go for it! It looks great, and who cares what the Father-In-Law say. It makes no sense at all that he feels cramped and sweaty all day.

My Darling Husband did not want to wear a tie either ( super casual beach wedding), but a few days prior to the big day he suddenly changed his mind and ended up wearing one. So just wait and see how your Fiance decides.
