He could throw his “Little black Book” as he won’t be needing it anymore.

Interesting. I consider myself pretty conservative, and I don’t have anything against the garter toss, BUT…

Hmm… I suppsoe maybe you could get a ‘toss’ boutonniere made up for him to throw? I do like the “Little Black Book” idea, too, though lol.

@CrazyCoffeeGeek:  Does he have a sense of humor? You could wrap up this book, toss it , then enjoy the laughter when the recipient reads out the title.

Idea from a previous post “What if you tossed a gift card for dinner instead.  All your single friends could get up there and you could say something like : “We didn’t figure throwing you my undergarments would make you lucky in love, but perhaps the an all expense paid date will.  Have dinner on us!”

I like the black book idea, unless the corner of the book hits someone in the eye or something.

I like the boutannier idea as well but it might be a bit small for people to see and try to catch. Hmm…

I just googled on yahoo answers and one couple (I think this is cute), the bride before the toss went to the restroom to stick to her gater all these funny items like a toy sub, toy truck just a bunch of funny weird items under the dress. The bride acts like she’s embarrassed to have so much under her dress and the groom is shocked to be pulling so much out. Gives the audience a laugh. Perhaps then pull out a black book or something at the end and have him toss that? I thought that idea was cute.

Either way I’m sure you will think of something.

According to a coworker of mine, the traditional groom toss was the bouquet. Hoping I can talk my Fiance into doing that instead.

What if you make him a bouquet of gift cards that he can throw?

What about doing a co-toss.  Like have all the single ladies and fellas go for the bouquet.  Put a gift card or w/e in and everyone gets a shot!

@CrazyCoffeeGeek:  In Mexico is very usual that the groom makes the toss with a single rose.
