I went to a fall wedding last year and the guys wore Ivory shirts with orange ties and a brown plaid (little barely there plaid) vests and brown dress pants. It was so cute. I loved it. The groom was a very big guy too and they got them all at casual male.

I think brown will look nice for a fall theme.

I was thinking brown before I even read the post and saw the shoes. I think you could get away with brown slacks a shirt and suspenders or a vest would be nice. Brown is the way to go and I LOVE the shoes!

that sounds like it would look great for a fall wedding in the adirondacks. Fiance hates tuxes too, so we are having all of the men wear their own plain black suit and then he’ll wear a black suit with a subtle pattern (pin stripes or something). maybe your Fiance could add a vest to his ensemble or a patterned tie to differentiate from the other men a bit?

I love chocolatey/dark brown and orange… no orange in this pic, but love the suit color…
