I would LOVE to surprise Fiance with a grooms cake, it would probably be a guitar and something either with swat or a police department. But that’s only if we can afford it in our budget, because I know I wouldn’t beable to make something as nice as I’d like to give him

Fiance doesnt even really like cake to begin with, so we arent going to do it.

It’s not something that people generally do here and my fiance doesn’t want one (we both believe that the wedding cake is enough cake for the both of us).

I’m making FI’s groom cake. He knows, but he doesn’t know what it will look like.

I’m not sure yet, the rentals and food are going to take up a lot of the budget lol and specialty cake shops around here can run very very expensive

My Fiance loves ice cream so we are having an ice bar with different toppings. I think it is going to be something fun and different.

Bobbypins- My SIL and I designed a guitarcase cake for my brother it was so awesome.  My brother puts stickers all over his guitar case. Most are of the places he has played in or bands he’s opened for.  You can see his real base guitarcase leaning against the wall.

@bobbypins- Isn’t that cool! The stickers were made out of rice/sugar paper.  My brother was floored that we did this for him.  Took me and 3 other people almost a yearl to find the stickers and scan them.  So worth it though

We’re not having a groom’s cake.  Fiance isn’t into anything that would translate well as a cake, so he suggested instead of having two cakes, we have one really tall wedding cake with two flavors.  I’m super excited about it!

@vintage that is the COOLEST cake I have ever seen!!!!!!!!!

btw bees true story: my FH and I are hanging out and I showed him the cake and was like “awesome, wish I could get you one!” and the secrect suprise is I am getting him one 😀 I told him they were too much (at $300 it kinda is but he is gonna flip!)….

He drives a ’69 Chevy Chevelle and I am getting a cake to look exactly like it with a tiny “just married” sign on the back and tiny cans/etc
