@sunnybrook the black and silver jacket is a tux rental from western tux in Canada. However the vest, shirt, tie, pants combo was a last minute photo shoot and we bought the pieces separately. The pants are from Macy’s and they are slim fit and very cheap I think $40 each. The vests we bought at a buy one get one free event at a suit store called Moores in Canada $80 for both, however we saw plenty of vests at other places even at Macy’s. The black shirt may have come from Macy’s too and the green shirt was more expensive from le chateau but we loved the colour. The matching green tie le chateau so they match and the black tie from sears only $10.

So yes you could get a reasonably priced suit instead of a rental, lots if wedding parties do that now. We just couldn’t find one before we selected our rentals. The last minute suit idea came later

I wish I had a picture of them in just their vests, but I don’t. Obvioiusly, Hubby is in the grey suit, and two of his groomsmen are in the black suits. We got them through Men’s Wearhouse… These are their Vera Wang tuxes.

We couldn’t find a 3 peice suit that fit my hubby well wo he bought and wore the suit for the cermemony then took the jacket off and put on a marino wool vest for the reception.  I liked the look and it helped differentiate him from the orher guys wearing shirts and ties.  He bought the suit at a store in Canada similar to Men’s Warehouse and the vest from Herbergers in the US.
